A story starting with *once upon a time* can be written about the Christian Ensemble Magurele. The story begins with a land full of garbage and weeds, which some Christians, inspired by God, thought to buy, imagining what will follow, which , in the meantime, became reality.
In the beginning there was just a shelter for workers and equipments , then diggings, mud and a lot of work.
The specialists could see on the paper what was to appear, the friends and the neighbors marveled at what they saw. And soon it came out what we can see...The hostel can accommodate 36 aged and very aged persons.
Through the help of the Lord and of the brethren from Holland and Germany, with the known and unknown support of yourselves, through prayers and freewill offerings, through the hard work and devotion of the hired and non-hired workers (the non-hired workers have understood to do this work freely, at the call of the Lord, by helping the hired workers, or by providing spiritual assistance).
There are brothers who come daily (except the Mondays) to present the word of God and to encourage the people living here. We have to say that these visits are a joy and a hope for the aged people of House Jacob, a sparkle of light before the step towards heaven.
That is why it is advisable to bring before the Lord all the persons who are close to the end of their earthly journey, people with infirmities, having their soul tired by the hardness of life, by the sorrow of the separation from their beloved ones and from a generation of people with the memories that have left with the time elapsed. Such people need understanding and gentleness, therefore they have to be treated with tact and delicacy, in order not to hurt them , but to do everything that could be helpful to them , even if they are not always aware of such gestures. The third age is part of the life , but not all the people reach it. While we are young , it seems to be far from us, but the years * quickly pass and we fly away*. For some, the flight is over earlier, for others, later.
Let us pray for one another and especially for those who pass through critical ages, through various trials, as we know that we are called also for serving to others , for giving ourselves to others and for manifesting faithfulness in our everyday life.
